Hi Everyone! And thank you so much for checking out my first ever blog post! This is something that I've wanted to do for a while now and is long overdue. I am so excited to begin sharing with you products that I love. After they've been tried and tested by yours truly, my goal is to provide you with helpful advice before making a new cosmetic purchase. So... without further adieu, today's blog post has to do with something that I've struggled with for YEARS.

Take it from me when I say that I know how annoying it is when you've spent an hour getting ready to go out with friends and you've put on your favourite shade of lipstick - then you take that first sip of wine only to realize that your favourite shade of lipstick is now all over the rim of your glass. You know the struggle. A sub sandwich isn't complete without a pretty ring of pink lipstick on the bun right? Wrong.

What initially drew me towards trying this lipstick was the "SuperStay" title as well as the clean, simple packaging. I have to say that it is now one of my favourite lipsticks to wear when I want the colour to stay put. The consistency of the product is similar to a cream when it is applied. Once it dries, it lasts for hours without needing a touch up. As the colour fades, it starts to look more and more natural rather than getting flaky (like some of its cosmetic counterparts) which I LOVE. The best part... it doesn't leave a residue on glasses (or sandwiches)! I will admit that after multiple

days of wear, I do start to notice that my lips get a little dry, so just make sure that you are exfoliating and moisturizing on a regular basis.

Overall, I would score this long-wear lip product a 4.5 out of 5 as I do wish that they had a broader shade range. I have purchased most of the neutral colours and a number of the deeper shades already. The affordability of this is also a major plus.

Pros:

creamy texture

fast drying

long-wearing

affordable

no flaking

no colour transfer!

Cons:

can dry out lips after multiple days of wear

I'd love more colour choices!

4.5/5

I hope that this review has helped you solve all of your lipstick transfer woes. What are your thoughts on this product? Which products are your lipstick go-to's?
